- SKSean KellyNov 4, 20251.0Five years ago Safelite Auto Glass replaced the windshield in my 2001 Jeep Wrangler. They removed all of the rubber gaskets around the windshield, inside and out. When finished, the technician apologized about the appearance on the inside. The rubber molding didn't fit, short in all 4 corners, and sagging from the top. I've lived with it for five years. A couple of weeks ago, Safelite Auto Glass again replaced the windshield of my 2001 Jeep, same address, same insurance. I put them on notice, explained they installed the wrong gasket. Justin and Alicia explained they understood and the appropriate gaskets have been ordered and will be installed. After several appointments and cancellations (no parts), Chad showed up to replace the windshield and gaskets. I asked Chad, if he was going to replace the incorrect rubber gasket. He said, he had the new one in the box. Only he did not have the correct rubber gasket for the inside of the Jeep. He did not replace it. Alecia, left me a voicemail saying, They don't do the inside? From beginning to end - nothing went right. This is not the company I want to trust with my safety.
