- RRRichard c ReedJun 1, 20255.0I was having an issue with my check engine light on my most recent vehicle purchase a 2008 super beetle. I was pleasantly surprised to see Miss Kenzie behind the desk. Kenzie is my favorite team member at the store. She always says hello using my name with a big smile. Kenzie is the main reason I use this place. Being in customer service for thirty five years I know how important remembering names is . As for the Bug Kenzie hooked her up to the computer and the mass airflow sensor was bad. There was also an issue with my struts that we discussed and the AC didn't work. Kenzie always is the lady on the spot and spent around thirty minutes or so patiently discussing the Beetles issues and with her help on the stores ordering terminal we got things right. Now I no longer have warning lights on my car. I also got the bug for $2,000 and it's a CONVERTIBLE. Thank you Miss Kenzie

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
