On December 22nd, I drove from Boca Raton, FL to Hudson, FL, a 4.5-hour journey north to visit my sister over the Christmas holidays. Within an hour of my drive, my tire pressure warning light came on, which was quite concerning. Upon arriving at my sister’s home, she highly recommended Mavis Tire in Hudson due to their excellent service and knowledgeable staff. She has always had positive experiences with this location. I made an appointment for the Friday after Christmas and was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the location – you could eat off the floor; it was that spotless! Perry, the manager, was extremely knowledgeable, particularly with the model of my vehicle. He quickly identified that the issue with my tire pressure light was likely due to a tire sensor, and he was right. Fortunately, they had the part in stock and were able to replace it while I waited. While waiting, a very nice mechanic informed Perry that my vehicle was a quart low on oil. This came as a shock because I had just taken my vehicle to a Mavis location in South Florida the day before arriving in Hudson, and they should have informed me of this, so I’m very glad that the Hudson Mavis informed me. By the time I left Mavis in Hudson, my vehicle had been repaired and even test driven, which was very impressive. In addition to Perry, all of the employees at the Hudson location were incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. As a single woman in my 60s, it was very comforting to know that my vehicle was in the hands of such capable and caring people. I highly recommend Mavis Tire located at 12229 Little Rd., Hudson, FL. It’s reassuring to know I have a reliable mechanic in Hudson in case I need one while visiting my sister, which is often.
