- COCs OrtizFeb 2, 20262.0This review is intended as constructive yet serious feedback regarding one employee at this location. Lorenzo provided excellent service. He was efficient at checkout, proactive, and ensured the process moved quickly. Yadira was also professional and receptive to my feedback. However, Emmanuel’s behavior was unacceptable. Speaking to team members disrespectfully in front of customers is unprofessional, and responding to my simple request for your name with “what happens between me and my coworker is not my business” was completely inappropriate. Instead of listening to the feedback I was providing, you escalated the situation and spoke to me in a confrontational manner. This type of interaction drives customers away and reflects poorly on the store as a whole. I hope this is addressed, as professionalism and communication are essential in customer-facing roles. Everyone can have a difficult day, but this experience demonstrates a clear need for improvement.

- ____Oct 6, 20251.0I came to this store and I don’t have too much knowledge on parts, which is why the employees are there, and I put my uncle on the phone/speaker, and even though they couldn’t understand each other, my uncle asked for the manager and the employee was extremely rude and rolling his eyes, not only to my uncle on the phone but as well when he picked up the phone for another customer. Right off the bat, he was standoff-ish. He then proceeded to kick me out, in Spanish, and that I need to go to autozone because he can’t help me. The unprofessionalism, rudeness, and lack of customer skill was astonishing. Even if the employee couldn’t understand my uncle, he already had a short fuse, attitude, and the worst part, kicking me out because he couldn’t “help” me. The only descriptor of the employee I have is that he has a stutter, spoke only Spanish, and has darker complexion. No matter what miscommunication you have, if you work with customers, you need some sort of social skills. This employee completely lacks that.

Does Advance Auto test and install batteries?
Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.
What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.
How much does a car battery cost?
A traditional lead/acid car battery can range between $60-$120. The difference in cost comes from a variety of things, like the size of the vehicle or any special requirements needed from the battery, i.e. an increased resistant to cold or hot climates. Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
