    I normally don’t leave reviews, but today pushed me over the edge. This is the second time in a month I’ve had a bad experience at Advanced auto parts store on 1015 Hinson Ave, Haines City, FL. The lack of customer service is beyond disappointing. If you don’t actually want to help customers, maybe stay home or just close the doors altogether. Today I went in to return an oil filter. I had purchased two different ones so my mechanic wouldn’t have to send me running back to the store. I didn’t have the receipt at first — that’s on me — but the way I was treated was completely uncalled for. The guy behind the counter looked at me like I was lying. He inspected the box like it was a crime scene and even glanced over at his coworker as if to say, “You believe her?” It was insulting. I told him fine, I’ll get the receipt and be right back — and I did, in less than five minutes. When I handed it to him, I mentioned that there was a little oil on it (since, you know, it came from the mechanic). His response? “Your mechanic needs to wash his hands.” Absolutely unprofessional. If that’s how they’re trained to treat paying customers, no wonder people are taking their business elsewhere. I sure did — and let me tell you, O’Reilly Auto Parts just down the road treated me with actual respect and got me taken care of with zero attitude.
