I was experiencing some light shaking in my car when breaking on the highway and went to Mavis to check the issue since they had replaced my rotors a year ago due to the a more intense version of the problem. Chris informed me that the rotors were “warped” and that my break pads were completely bare. These replacements would cost me hundreds of dollars, but he claimed he would give me the best quality. I took my car the next day to two other mechanics at two separate locations, for a second opinion. BOTH individually told me that the rotors and the break pads were practically brand new and the shaking was not an issue to be concerned about.
