Stopped here to look at trucks. The buying process is less than stellar. They kept trying to have us test drive a truck before we even knew what we were approved for. They would not give us any numbers, payment amount estimate, approval amount etc. After we were told that he didn't understand what the big deal was and asked why we were making this so hard, we told Michael we were leaving. I love Honda and have only owned them since 2000 so I may have to go to Ocala to buy my next one :-( I don't understand why they can't just answer a simple question? Why make is so frustrating for your customers?

This business is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. Do NOT go here or trust them. I took my car in because I was hearing noises and had to get the front axles replaced, which was over $1200. Then only one year later I took it back in because I was hearing the noises again in the front and they claimed the axles were completely worn out and had to be replaced again for another $1200. Mind you axles should last many many years. I tried arguing it with corporate as this should’ve been a warranty issue, only to get completely shut down. So I waited a couple months and then took the car back in. After leaving it with them for over 24 hours and hearing nothing from them, I decided to just go take my car back. And when I get there they claim there’s nothing wrong with the car. WHAT!? Yet the noises still persist. They don’t answer the phones, have no communication, the place is complete havoc inside, absolutely awful service! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!

The Sales team is pushy and do not listen to what you say.. So my nephew had $10,000.00 to spend on a new car. Didn't have to be new.It was just new to him. I called honda of gainesville , to see if they had anything on their lot for that price. I told the girl we didn't want to make payments. That he had a set amount of money , and that's all he had. She tells me they don't have anything for that price. So I was "Okay, I understand thank you for checking.Have a good day. " She won't let me off the phone because she wants to sell my nephew a more expensive car and have him put the money down. I told her multiple times that's not what we were doing. And she would not listen. To the point where I had to hang up on her. She then calls me the next day to see if we found something and that she'd be willing to cut us a deal for a down payment. I had to tell her no, thank you. She's still wouldn't get off the phone with me. So then I had to actively be mean to her and yell at her and hang up the phone. They called the next day. I didn't answer it all. Now i'm never gonna buy a car from them even if I need one. Because of how pushy and unrelentingly aggressive , their salesman are.

Atlantic Coast Honda provided exceptional service after a serious issue with our vehicle’s brake caliper. What could have been an incredibly stressful situation was handled with urgency, professionalism, and genuine care. A huge thank you to Kristie Roderick, our service advisor, who went above and beyond for our family. She was responsive, compassionate, and made sure we had transportation by providing us with a full-size loaner vehicle while our vehicle was being addressed. That level of service made a difficult situation much easier. The team took our safety concerns seriously, communicated well, and worked to make things right. I truly appreciate the care and accountability Atlantic Coast Honda showed us. When a problem happens, how a business responds matters most — and they responded the right way.

Last December (2025) I had a pleasant buying experience at Honda of Gainesville. So much so, I recommended my nephew who was in the process of needing another car. He purchased a car about 2 weeks later from Stephen with whom he was very pleased! After my nephew made his purchase, I inquired with the dealership about a referral fee. I was advised that the dealer did recognize referral fees and that a copy of my DL would be needed to complete the process of receiving the payment. I provided the requested information - yet nothing has happened. We are now in March! This past Monday (3/16) I was scheduled for my first free oil change at Honda of Gainesville, which provided the perfect opportunity to inquire about the referral fee I never received the 3 months since my nephew's car purchase. Before doing so, I was contacted by a salesman from Honda of Gainesville trying to sell me yet another car - aside from the one I purchased in December - yet no one can produce that referral fee check? How so? Raise your levels of customer loyalty and appreciation and stop chasing a sale that, in this case, is not going to happen. I am so disgusted, but reserve patience because I intend to get what I am owed.
