  I had issues with my convertible car rented in Miami (engine warning light) and I was told by Road Assistance try to manage to drive it next 35miles to Gainesville being ensured that replacement car will be waiting for me there. Well, when I arrived, nobody at the desk knew about me and I was asked to wait till they manage to serve rush-hour flights. After an hour, I was given car that needed oil replacement. Then, they gave me car that had broken rear bumper but no evidence about it in any documentation. So... After almost 3 hours, I was finally given some spare car - 7 place full size SUV, that is absolutely inconvenient for my needs. Thank you for notning! EDIT: Moreover, young lady at the desk was very rude. I asked her if she can repeat to me the parking lot number and she showed me that I'm stupid, because I'm not able to remember one number...

  Rented a palisade. It was nice, new, and roomy. The renting process was simple and fast and the prices were unbeatable. I 100% recommend.

  The customer service at the Gainesville Regional Airport Alamo location is unmatched! Winston (the manager) and an amazing associate whose name I wasn’t able to get helped me return the car that I rented at a different location. I accidentally locked myself out of the car and when I explained the situation the staff at Alamo waived the $75 roadside assistance fee no questions asked! I can not express how thankful I was and I will definitely be renting with Alamo through this location if I ever need a rental car again :)

  The only reason I am giving 1 star is because of the young gentlemen outside helping with basically everything. I think his name was Micheal. He needs to be manager! Winston is awful!! He hides his name badge to make sure a reduce the number of complaints. I had originally rented from enterprise. On my trip the car started acting funny. Got on the ride home and the car started to quiver at different times (quite often). Enterprise had me route to this airport to exchange the vehicle. No one was at the enterprise desk and the National/Alamo desk was covering. Winston interrupts, accuses even with fingers pointed at you, does not listen to concerns, no effort for trying to solve problems, makes decisions for the customer (included downgrading the car), argues almost to the point of yelling, does not include the customer in normal inspections of the car, has ZERO empathy towards anyone. I would honestly chose to drive an unsafe car the rest of the way home than to deal with him again.

  We picked up a car at Gainesville airport in Gainesville Florida. The car was in poor condition with damage on the front left quarter panel front bumper the car and smoked in and have stain on the passenger seat. No inspection was done at the time of pick up. No notation was made on the contract provided digitally after pick up. None of this was mentioned by the agent giving us the car. It’s a disappointing overall experience as I had to contact customer service right away to let them know the condition of the car. Although we may be contacted in the future by Alamo, currently we are dissatisfied with the overall experience and could not recommend Alamo.
