Great service today at General RV service. Tina Walen my service advisor understood my situation and helped right away, in a short time I had a few different technicians checking out a difficult issue, Robert and Sam worked hard to get the problem resolved and thankfully all is working great. Good job everyone!! Martin.

My dog and I were tent camping from NC to Key West when we saw RV billboards and pulled off I-95. Ended up buying a 2025 21 foot long double axel 4,800 lb Grand Design from General RV.
To pull this camper, I then received favorable trade value for my compact SUV in exchange for purchasing a 2026 Ford F-150 V6 Eco Boost from Sunrise Ford of Fort Pierce, Florida.
Walking in the front door at the Fort Pierce General RV, lovely receptionists greeted me warmly and introduced me to beautiful, (inside and out) AWESOME Annie in sales, whose smile and shining eyes make Florida sunshine seem dim.
Annie did a wonderful job of listening to my wish list, showing me camper options and efficiently guiding me to my dream rig. Annie also guided me to buying sway bars and an exterior protective coating for my camper.
At one point, Fort Pierce General RV GM, Billy Ray, engaged while I was buying my truck and we were able to decide upon a wireless brake controller, which Fort Pierce General RV installed and this prevented my waiting multiple days for a Ford parts delivery scenario.
Fort Pierce General RV Delivery Services Expert, Terry Small is a man of huge heart and knowledge of the features of my Grand Design camper. We also swapped stories and became brothers from another mother!
Pedro installed my safety sway bars and some other items, which I greatly appreciated.
Finally, Toi in Finance was equipped with ears to hear, empathy and kindness, which EVERYONE in the Fort Pierce General RV dealership displayed to me over and over again.
Toi and I got my wired purchasing funds, out of state tax, title, tag related paperwork and 5 year 60,000 miles extended bumper to bumper warranty handled so that I’m now in a worry free state of mind.
A spotless restroom, cooled bottled water and even water and Scooby Snacks for my dog capped off a stellar Fort Pierce General RV experience.
I will stop back in when my travels allow because the good folks of Fort Pierce General RV are now my friends. What more can a fully satisfied customer say?

Don't buy an RV from this dealer!!! The worst service after the sale i have ever experienced. I have purchased plenty of cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats etc. Over the years and have never experienced such unorganized chaos. Did the walk through at delivery in December and had a list of items not working and needing to be fixed. Booked a follow up service appointment on Feb 18th. Drove an hour to the dealer to drop off for service only to find out the did not have the parts nor were they ever ordered. They sent me home and rescheduled for March and because of the inconvenience they would come and pick the RV. Well my appointment came due and no one called as they said they would so I took another day off work to take the RV back in. So they check in the RV and send me on my way. A week later I stop by to check on it and they tell me they haven't looked at it yet or started any repairs/parts replacement. I saw the shop foreman and he said there was a miscommunication between the service writers and the repair shop. He promised to get it in the bay that day. Throughout this whole nonsense I call and leave messages and no one has once called me back. I have filed 2 complaints with corporate office but that fell on deaf ears as well. 2 weeks later after the shop Forman promised me he would get it going I take another day off to go check on the repairs. I arrive only to find out they haven't touched a thing and now just realized they dont have the freaking parts.. Now I am beside myself. I take the RV home and they swear they are going to order the parts. Today I stop by again and still no parts no ETA they cant even tell me if the parts have been ordered. WHAT A CLOWN SHOW....Ironically I have met 2 other dissatisfied customers of General RV one who is actually filing a lawsuit against them.So if you truly enjoy getting the 1st Class runaround and horrible service then this is the place for you!!!!Hope Forest River pulls their dealership....

Went into look at RVs and they wanted me to fill out a form. Makes no sense. Complete waste of time. Then when I made an offer on a unit, they wanted me to provide a credit card number before the sales person could submit the offer for approval. Completely unacceptable and a scam. Why would anyone submit themselves to this nonsense? Crazy!

So this might be a little long winded but first shoutout to Joe and Katrina at the service department you all are amazing employees and have fantastic customer service. You two are why we WILL be back to General RV to do business again! Thank you both SO MUCH!
We got our Catalina Forester Trail Blazer almost a year ago when the dealer was still Lazy Dayz. We drove it off the lot and immediately found ourselves in a freak hail storm.
Well we had such a good experience at Lazy Dayz we decided to get our RV fixed at General. It’s been almost a year but there was a lot to get fixed on the outside.
The problems started when we had to deal with an employee named Kevin. He was very short, had terrible communication, hardly ever called us back and was awful at explaining what the next step was and what part was being waited on.
What he was advising us and our insurance company was not what actually needed to be done. At one point he even tried bullying my husband over the phone by telling him that if we didn’t come pick up our RV they would start charging us storage fees. Maybe if he had actually explained the issue instead of being very snarky and a complete jerk we would understand what he meant. If he had just taken a photograph of the silly little decal sticker and sent it to us our Rv would have been done months ago. He told us it was much bigger fix than it was and got mad that we kept calling for updates or an actual detailed explanation. Anytime you asked any question he acted like it was a chore for him.
Mind you, we live two hours away , and have been making payments on our RV for almost a year while it’s been getting fixed. Oh and also, our insurance claims lady had to speak to Kevin as well and she explained he was not very nice to her either. This is ridiculous.
So we show up today and Joe and Katrina were ROCKSTARS! Absolute rockstars. They explained that the only part left to do was one small sticker and said not only would they take care of that but they will take care of the ceramic coating it had on it before the damage AND deliver it ! I am so grateful to them.
Now, I also want to point out that Joe and Katrina ordered the decals that our RV needed three times! From the manufacturer, and every single time they sent the wrong one! That is not their fault at all. Katrina said they even sent the before photos of our Rv with said stickers to the manufacturer to show them the right one and they said no that model doesn’t come with that ! Maybe the manufacturer should learn their vehicles so the dealer doesn’t look bad! And since it’s sent freight the dealer is now out of all of that money and can’t help the customer. Maybe a checks and balances needs to be done on the end of the manufacturer so things go a little quicker and more smoothly for the service shop! Instead of the dealer having to wait four to six weeks for a dang decal!
Anyway long story short General RV took care of us and we WILL be back to do business. Because Joe and Katrina and the service shop there are amazing!!!
Last thing I will say is today when we left the dealership there was another couple there who had eavesdropped a little on our conversation with Joe and Katrina. They advised us that they also had a horrible experience with Kevin who waited two weeks to tell them they couldn’t fix his RV after it sat there and had nothing done to it and he was also very rude and obnoxious.
