  The best service department in all of south Florida. My wife’s Volvo was towed to a Volvo dealer north of Port Charlotte for repair. The dealer gave her an estimate that was astronomical while trying to sell her a new car. I called Volvo of Fort Myers and talked to Jim Schmidt in service. After relaying the repair quote that my wife received to Jim he spoke with his senior technician. He informed me that they would need to rescan the car to determine what was causing the issue. I arranged for the car to be towed to Fort Myers. The repair quote was half of the original estimate. The car was repaired in a timely fashion without the additional pressure of a salesperson trying to sell my wife a new car. Truly amazing to find a dealerships service department that has the customers best interest in mind. Would highly recommend Jim and his technicians.

  Have bought from Fort Myers Volvo under previous ownership in the past but my recent experience was not good. Take their online prices with a grain of salt. Cars listed as “Certified” online at one price then get an added “Certification Fee” of $1200. I was planning to buy another used car and asked for their best out the door cash price for the vehicle I liked and saw that they added almost $3000 in “Reconditioning Fees” and “Non-Tax Fees”. I found another car of the same make, model and trim package with similar mileage at a different dealer and saved $3500 mostly because of less junk fees.

  This was the first time visiting service at Volvo, probably the best experience I’ve ever had at a dealership / service center. I wasn’t expecting much as I didn’t have an appointment —but Jim greeted me, asked me some questions and assured me he’d squeeze me in to figure out what’s going on. I’m so grateful I did. Within 30 mins the mechanic had identified the root cause. The previous repair from a local mechanic hadn’t installed /seated the solenoid properly. Check engine light gone, problem solved. I was clicking my heels. Jim went above and beyond to make my experience awesome, with great results. I’ll thank Jim again personally the next time I need service, but wanted to recognize Jim as a professional that knows how to take care of people and problems. Nowadays, it’s a rarity. Cheers Jim, thank you Volvo Service Team!

  Dealing with the group at Volvo of Fort Myers was easy from start to finish . Our salesman , Sawyer was great ! He was knowledgeable about the XC60 we were interested in and wound up buying . John and Pete were also great to deal with during the buying process . We’re very happy we chose Volvo of Fort Myers !

  A very big thank you to James in the Service department. I was traveling past Fort Myers early on a Saturday when my V60 had some significant problems. I managed to make my way to Volvo Cars Fort Myers and found James and the Service department open. They took the car in and diagnosed the problem. While it wasn't good news, they had me in a courtesy car that let me complete my trip to Tampa while service options were evaluated. Thank you for your hospitality James, and team!
