  BEWARE! Total scammers. Many other people have reported similar experiences. Had our rental car for one day. Tons of preexisting damage to the vehicle that I noted in the app at pickup. Despite that, one day after drop off I get an email that there was damage to the vehicle. This is not occur with us. I have sent multiple emails to customer service and their claims dept. and I received no response. I then get a call that it's going to collections. I only got a boiler plate response after I escalated to the BBB. I continue to ask for photos of the vehicle before and after pickup and they just don't respond. They do this with lots of customers, just read through the reviews.

  Horrible experience. I’ve rented multiple times from Sixt never had a problem before. Rented the car for two days, and returned the car and they back came to me 6 weeks later claiming I “scratche” the back door handle (about 1 inch in length) through their new A.I. scanner you drive through and trying to charge me $990 and there are no damages in my videos I have after returning. (They Charged me after I opened up a claim with Amex for a parking ticket as they still charged me and I showed proof for it was an invalid charge.) I’ve provided documents of the car video and photos of before leaving the lot and after returning and sent them 3 emails and they have still not responded and trying to charge me when I was informed I would get an answer the same day for my claims case. Also charged me $102 for a parking ticket in which I showed them proof that the parking lot made an error charging sixt and the lot sent sixt a email and I showed sixt the proof of the lot telling sixt not to charge me and the lot saying they are not charging sixt anymore and still made me pay and never got a response. Can’t believe it got to this point, highly considering taking legal actions as I’ve been speaking to a few people about my situation and have all the proof, videos, photos, and emails all time stamped. Do not rent from sixt, I’ve been nothing but nice and patient for months but now it has gotten to that point where I am considering legal actions for unethical business practices, charges, and much more.

  Rented a car last week from Fort Myers airport - What an incredible experience!! We got in late and walked up to the check-in counter with a wonderful greeting from THE Nathan, what a guy!! He was able to accommodate an incredible upgrade for us (much cheaper than online), and work super quickly for us. We were in and out in about 10 minutes. 10/10 recommend!!

  This experience was passed, efficient, and felt very luxurious. I’m about to return the car today and the brand new blue mini Cooper I was able to drive my family around in all week was incredible! I truly look forward to the next time I get to rent a car from them.

  First time using SIXT & rank our car rental arrival experience the best in our travel history. Long frustrating airline delay with past midnight arrival at SIXT rental desk. Jeffrey was comforting, engaging & efficiently professional. Parking Attendant Vik was equally helpful & customer focused for several reasons. Thank You SIXT Fort Myers, you earned our repeat business.
