  First time using SIXT & rank our car rental arrival experience the best in our travel history. Long frustrating airline delay with past midnight arrival at SIXT rental desk. Jeffrey was comforting, engaging & efficiently professional. Parking Attendant Vik was equally helpful & customer focused for several reasons. Thank You SIXT Fort Myers, you earned our repeat business.

  Habe das erste Mal dort gemietet, sonst immer bei der Konkurrenz. Werde aber jetzt immer dort mieten. War alles super. Kurze Wartezeit bei Übernahme, echt toll. Woanders hätte ich lange warten müssen. Erläuterung und Fahrzeugauswahl super mit Bildern erläutert. Vorher konnte ich schon online einchecken und Führerschein etc. scannen. Super. Komme gerne wieder.

  First time using Sixt at this airport and it was a success. Vic who works at the return section was so great. He helped me find my way to the main building to get my reservation in order and guided me through my return at the booth. He smiled through every step and his patience😍....wow just wow. He needs a raise, a higher position or something because he really makes this company look good. Thank you Vic

  After returning my rental car, they sent me a claim for $1500 to fix a scratch on the bumper that was there prior to my picking up the car. No employees inspected the vehicle with me when I picked the car up (I inspected it myself and noted multiple scratches to both bumpers at this time). When I returned the car at 5 pm (middle of the day, not like it was overnight when you would expect there to be a skeleton crew), there was not a single employee to be found anywhere to do a return inspection with. After waiting and walking around for 15 minutes looking for someone to do the inspection with, we gave up and just dropped the keys in the key return since we had to catch a flight. The way this was set up, this operation seems like a giant scam and I will never be using Sixt again. Save yourself the hassle and use ANY other car rental company at this airport. EDIT: After posting this review, Sixt reached out to me and ended up dropping the charges. I am editing my review from one star to three stars due to the good customer service Sixt provided in rectifying the issue.

  SCAMMERS!! DO NOT rent car from this company! I had a very disappointing experience with Sixt Rent a Car at the Fort Myers Airport location. After returning the vehicle, Sixt contacted me claiming there was damage to the car during my rental period. This came as a complete shock because the damage they are claiming absolutely did not happen while the car was in my possession. During my trip, we barely used the vehicle. We only drove it from the airport to my grandparents’ home. They have their own car, which we used for almost all transportation during our visit. The rental car stayed parked inside their garage for the vast majority of the rental period and was rarely driven. There was no accident, no impact, and no situation that could have caused the damage they are now claiming. Seeing the photo they sent was extremely surprising because that damage was not caused by me or anyone in my family. Situations like this make customers feel like they are being blamed for damage they did not cause. It is incredibly frustrating and stressful to be accused of something that simply did not happen. I strongly recommend that anyone renting from this location take detailed photos and videos of the car at pickup and return, because you may need proof to protect yourself.
