  I am sharing my experience. I recently stopped by this store and proceeded to pull out my LIST of what to get from this store as I caught a LYFT to get here. It included 2 Arizona Energy drinks, 2 Beers, a tobacco product and some honey buns. Plus, I was getting some scratch offs. I was DENIED sale of anything solely because I HAD A LIST OF ITEMS to remind myself. I showed my ID, they scanned it but the Manager came out and denied my sale. Why? Because I had a list…. Corporate will be involved.

  The people that work here are just awful and the lady just can’t stop eating while she’s at the register. It’s disgusting.

  We stopped for slushie drinks. All 4 of us threw them away. They were off the chart sweet, so bad we couldn't drink them. Even our 2 teenagers didn't drink them.

  So in response to reviews that i continue seeing about racetrac being 24/7 but closing the store at 10pm. Racetrac has a policy that says that for third shift (which is 10pm - 6am), if there is only one person working on the shift, the person working may lock the doors. This is only after the employee has spoken with general manager to find coverage for the store in order to have a completely operation store. If the GM cannot find coverage he should continue to exhaust his lines of communication following the chain of command until someone 2-3 levels above him/her approves a door lock. Third shift is schedule with multiple people however life happens and there are times people have to call out or go on vacation. When this happens it leaves an employee in the store alone, for the employees safety (among other reasons) they lock the door. HOWEVER, while the doors are locked, the employee IS required to use the window so that they can still provide service to the guests that frequent the store. And hopefully the associate can use the window to satisfy the needs of the customer while still doing the obnoxious amount of chores that 3rd shift is required to do before shifts end. I understand being inconvenienced at times. Its frustrating! But if racetrac is able to understand the consumer side of things and try to fix it, maybe the consumers can understand that racetrac continues to function because of humans, non of us are perfect. Hopefully this answers some of the questions and stops some of the 1 star reviews on a chain of gas stations where the people are trying their best to serve their community.

  Don't say you're open 24\7 when you lock the doors at 10PM. Why even keep staff in the store at that point? So they can stare at me through the glass?
