  Obviously this agency has difficulty with overbooking. I rented a SUV the man next to me a Jeep convertible, neither available. I was given a larger vehicle, Jeep Wagoneer, filthy dirty so they offered to wash it and took my boys to get donuts and came back after 15 minutes and the car was swapped out for a small Dodge. The manager looked me in the eyes, and lied to me saying that the vehicle needed to “go to the shop”. Why lie when you upgraded someone else. Just explain the situation. Don’t lie! I was charge the same rate for a smaller car. I won’t be using Enterprise again! Avoid this agency. Zero customer service and liars!

  Dan was great. We didn’t order this car, but he was he found it for us and we had a wonderful car with a lot more room than we had even dreamed of. He was very attentive to our needs, and he got us in and out quickly, and they were shortstaffed that day, but he still had a smile on his face. This is a great place and he certainly deserves a raise. They’re always clean and they always are helpful.

  I reserved a van with Enterprise a full week in advance, only to be told on the day of my trip that there was no vehicle available. A reservation apparently means nothing to this company. Staff claimed they “called me that morning,” yet I have no missed calls, no voicemail, no text, and no email. Even if they had called, notifying a customer the same day that their reserved vehicle doesn’t exist is completely unacceptable. No backup plan, no comparable replacement, no real effort to fix the problem — just excuses. This caused major inconvenience and disrupted my plans entirely. If Enterprise can’t honor confirmed reservations or communicate properly, they shouldn’t be taking bookings at all. Extremely unreliable and unprofessional. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you actually need a vehicle when it matters.

  Location: Enterprise Rent-A-Car – Cypress Lake, Fort Myers Manager: Keith I am writing this as a long-time Enterprise customer who is extremely disappointed with how my family was treated at the Cypress Lake location. We are a family of six and were given a small Mazda from another Enterprise location — a vehicle that physically does not fit our family. For an entire week, we have been paying for a rental we could not properly use together, and each day we were told, “There are no cars available.” Yesterday, an Enterprise employee at another location specifically instructed me to come to the Cypress Lake location at 9 AM, stating that if cars were available, they could help swap our vehicle. I followed those instructions exactly. When I arrived, there were two vehicles on the lot. The employee told me he just needed manager approval. That is when the situation changed entirely. The manager, Keith, came out and immediately refused to help, stating: “I need to take care of my Enterprise people. You got your car from a different Enterprise. This is my Enterprise.” He was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional, and made it clear he had no interest in helping resolve a problem that Enterprise itself created. Enterprise is one company — customers should not be punished due to internal location boundaries or politics. Instead of offering any solution, empathy, or accountability, I was spoken to disrespectfully and treated like an inconvenience despite following direct instructions from Enterprise staff. This experience was unacceptable, especially considering we have paid for a vehicle that has not met our basic family needs. Management behavior like this reflects poorly on Enterprise as a whole. I strongly encourage corporate leadership to review this incident and address the lack of professionalism and customer service at this location.
