  My husband and I flew into Fort Myers airport on March 1, 2026. When we went to get our rental car from a different company the wait was four hours as their computers were down. Alamo was opened and we were helped by the kindest gentleman. His name is Reggie. He went above and beyond any expectations we had which made for an extremely fantastic transaction. We commend Reggie for his professionalism and his willingness to help us during a very difficult situation. Hats off to Reggie at Alamo in Fort Myers!!

  Alamo was unbelievable polite, efficient and accommodating. We had a reservation with budget (which was an hour long line after traveling hours with 3 children) that fell through and I slide over to Alamo no reservations, last minute, no wait and Brandon and I believe Cherri were so helpful kind and efficient. We will be using Alamo moving forward and hope we can expect the same service Brandon and Cherri provided !

  TL;DR - They have very poor customer service if you encounter car troubles during your rental period. You are unable to contact the location directly and have to go through the centralized call center which is a HUGE pain. It has been rather difficult to get a proper refund from them. While I have rented from this Alamo location before, I will plan to take my business elsewhere in the future. LONG VERSION - I rented a car from this Alamo location in February 2026. Unfortunately, the car died a few days into our trip in the morning. The battery was not able to be jumped and it required towing. Frustrating, but these things happen. However, when calling Alamo Customer Support, I was unable to contact this location directly and had to go through their centralized call center who as royally unhelpful in terms of refunds/replacement vehicles. I was charged $68.00 for the "Roadside Assitance" to come out and tow the vehicle. Really? I am being charged for something that is not my fault? The call center was only able to send "tickets" to this branch for them to reach out to me about reimbursement and replacement vehicles. They were not able to contact them directly. Thus, I was left without a car for the entire day until someone from their branch contacted me later that evening. I had to travel all the way back to the Ft. Meyers airport to get a replacement vehicle and negotiate some form of reimbursement, since the local Alamo/Enterprise branches in the Naples area were sold out (despite the call center telling me that they weren't). Luckily the vehicle died in the parking lot outside of our condo building in Naples, as I could only imagine this situation would've been much worse if anywhere else or further from this location. Once I got back to their location, they were helpful in getting me a replacement vehicle and "promising" a refund. However, it has been nearly 3-weeks and I am still awaiting a proper refund from the branch. I do not plan to use Alamo/Enterprise/National in the future.

  From my first interaction at the front desk passed closing time at 1:30am to the professional response from the folks helping me into my rental to the lovely woman who supported me at drop off, I was met with professional courtesy and response to a few issues that can occur went renting a car. These are well trained employees who do their best to help their customers. This was probably the best experience I've had in years renting cars when I travel! Well done Alamo!!

  It was overall a wonderful experience. Reggie, the agent at the counter was amazing. He was kind, personable, and very knowledgeable. Reggie went above and beyond to not only help me figure out the best timing for me to return my vehicle but also got it for me at a fantastic and affordable price point. Bud, the gate agent that checked me out was great. Funny and knowledgeable. He was a good help with directions and recommendations for our stay in Naples. The Chrysler Pacifica that was recommended for my family and I, was phenomenal. The car was super clean, up to date and well maintained. It came with all the latest features. My wife and kids were very impressed and excited about the car. The return process was quick and seamless. The customer service we received from beginning to end was outstanding. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with Alamo. Please keep up the great work. Kudos to Reggie for getting our vacation started off on a terrific note.
