  Reserved an intermediate SUV. Contacted Alamo as we were experiencing extensive flight delays and wanted to ensure our reserved vehicle would be available. Was assured by customer service that the vehicle would be available upon our arrival. When we arrived we were given a compact sedan and told that we could take it or leave it as it was the only car type available. The car would not fit all of the luggage and we had to squeeze luggage into the back seat with the kids. We were only discounted $15/day on our rate. Complete incompetence and poor customer service by Alamo at RSW airport.

  Always accommodating and a very friendly staff. I fly in and out of Fort Myers every month and I have never had an issue. It is nice to be able to pick your car. They always are helpful when returning (asking how the vehicle was and if they can do anything to improve). I have had issues in the past with Thrifty, Budget and Avis. As a result, I now only rent from Alamo or National.

  Speedy check-in at the machine with the assistance of a very personable attendant. Having a short distance to walk to get to the vehicle garage. Having a choice of three cars. No pressure to change sizes. Easy getting out of the parking garage -- just show my ID and sign once. Return was simple and quick. Drive to the designated parking garage. A personable attendant immediately met us, greeted us, said I got the car checked in, leave the keys in the dash, and take all of your belongings. He sked us who we were flying with and directed us accordingly as there was rerouting pedestrian traffic due to construction, and wished us on our way with "Merry Christmas.". Not only was this experience pleasure able for us, our accompanying grandchildren never got bored asking how long. Good job! Thank you!

  My sister and I recently rented a car through Alamo, and we had a great experience! Up at the desk we had the pleasure of meeting two amazing employees— Marilyn and Reggie. They helped us through the rental process and we shared a few laughs. As everyone knows, customer service jobs can be taxing on workers, especially around the holidays. These two (and other Alamo employees as well) had contagious smiles, and positive attitudes even dealing with demanding customers. If you’re looking to rent a car for your vacation out of RSW, this is a great rental company, and maybe you’ll have the pleasure of crossing paths with the wonderful individuals that work there. Thank you!

  Alamo was the chosen car rental location through Expedia when we booked our trip. Getting to the Alamo rental location in the airport was easy, the person who helped us behind the counter was fantastic as were the people in the car lot who helped us. Everyone was very friendly and helpful… it was a great way to start the weekend. The car that they gave us was beautiful!! It felt like a brand new car. And returning the car to Alamo was very easy! There were just no hiccups at all with this Car Rental. It was a great experience!
