  Alamo Car Rental and their staff at RSW airport in Ft Myers are simply the best. On a recent vacation to Naples I made the mistake of renting a vehicle from Budget. Rude uncaring staff, argumentative customer service AND the Mini Van I reserved 3 months ago was not available. I decided to check with Alamo and they were amazing. Got me the vehicle I needed quickly and reliably with no hassles. Their staff were friendly smiling and courteous. Helpful above and beyond. Price was competitive but service far exceeded that of the competitor. Highly recommended.

  Wouldn’t let me switch drivers for drop off over the phone and told me I had to go to a physical office which is a huge inconvenience. Would not recommend.

  TL;DR - They have very poor customer service if you encounter car troubles during your rental period. You are unable to contact the location directly and have to go through the centralized call center which is a HUGE pain. It has been rather difficult to get a proper refund from them. While I have rented from this Alamo location before, I will plan to take my business elsewhere in the future. LONG VERSION - I rented a car from this Alamo location in February 2026. Unfortunately, the car died a few days into our trip in the morning. The battery was not able to be jumped and it required towing. Frustrating, but these things happen. However, when calling Alamo Customer Support, I was unable to contact this location directly and had to go through their centralized call center who as royally unhelpful in terms of refunds/replacement vehicles. I was charged $68.00 for the "Roadside Assitance" to come out and tow the vehicle. Really? I am being charged for something that is not my fault? The call center was only able to send "tickets" to this branch for them to reach out to me about reimbursement and replacement vehicles. They were not able to contact them directly. Thus, I was left without a car for the entire day until someone from their branch contacted me later that evening. I had to travel all the way back to the Ft. Meyers airport to get a replacement vehicle and negotiate some form of reimbursement, since the local Alamo/Enterprise branches in the Naples area were sold out (despite the call center telling me that they weren't). Luckily the vehicle died in the parking lot outside of our condo building in Naples, as I could only imagine this situation would've been much worse if anywhere else or further from this location. Once I got back to their location, they were helpful in getting me a replacement vehicle and "promising" a refund. However, it has been nearly 3-weeks and I am still awaiting a proper refund from the branch. I do not plan to use Alamo/Enterprise/National in the future.
