Wonderfully helpful and kind people. I needed air in my tires and find it tricky to do on my own. They stopped what they were doing and got it done very quickly and with a smile. No charge. Went back and got my oil changed later which was quick and easy. They changed my wipers too. I give them a five star review without hesitation!!

Terrible. Would not go back to that location. Make an appt a week in advance, scheduled time off to fulfill it. They told me not to be late so I got to wee at 3:45. I got there and Roberto tells me that he may or may not be able to give me my car today and can't confirm if he will. I told him I don't mind if it's back late but I need it back today as it's my only vehicle and he refused to answer me or find someone who could give me a answer. You would think after calling me to confirm me coming in 4 times they could have told me putting tires on my car was going to be a overnight process. Terrible customer service, and communication. I was ready to spend 600 on tires, took my money to Pep Boys.

I want to personally share a positive experience at Mavis tires today, I am a loyal customer to them and I had previously purchased tires for my vehicle. Unfortunately, I did not elect to have Road hazard for nails. Sam, the gentleman who assisted me today was nice enough to extend the warranty to me. You don’t often see this type of courtesy and kindness from anyone . I would recommend them to all my friends and family, stop in and see them. They’re good people and what a blessing for this to happen on Good Friday!

They made my day…
I arrived at 7:30 AM, and my car was first in line.
As soon as I checked in, they told me I was now second. Somehow, another “happy” client had managed to get their card processed before me. Fine. Things happen.
I ended up waiting 45 minutes. There were only two people inside the garage: one in front of me and one behind me. During that entire time, I didn’t see any movement or work happening inside.
I asked the manager for an estimated time because I had important events I couldn’t miss today. His reaction was completely inappropriate. He got angry and almost started screaming at me, saying it would take as long as it takes. He added that if I didn’t like it, I could find another place around the corner.
Well, I’m glad he recommended I find another place. I left and got my tire fixed in literally less than 10 minutes.
I understand that big brand companies are experiencing staffing difficulties country wise, but that’s not my fault. They have a shortage of mechanics, yet I don’t see why I should have to tolerate his angry outburst.
On the bright side, thanks to his recommendation, I went to the other place, got my tire fixed quickly, and didn’t waste any time.
It used to be my go-to place for years, but after this incident… I won’t be going back. Don’t waste your time there.

Very disappointing experience at Mavis Tires & Brakes (Ft. Fed, Fort Lauderdale).
Having purchased multiple full sets of tires here I considered myself a loyal customer. I came in with a simple issue--a screw in my front tire. I didn’t want to pull it out myself and risk a leak so I brought it into Mavis for what I thought would be a relatively quick fix.
A staff member came out, glanced at it, and told me it would be FOUR HOURS before they could even look at it. The staff member did say the tire was repairable and that I should try Tire Kingdom, “They might be able to get you in sooner.” That’s completely unacceptable for something this simple, especially for a loyal customer who has spent real money here. If you can’t accommodate a quick repair or at least make some effort to prioritize a potentially unsafe situation, what exactly is the point of going to a tire shop?
This experience made it clear that customer loyalty means nothing here. Plenty of other places will value my time and business so I’ll be thinking long and hard before I buy tires from Mavis Tires & Brakes (Ft. Fed, Fort Lauderdale).
