Disorganized, Misleading, and Poorly Managed
The car itself drove perfectly, but the experience with this location was extremely frustrating and unprofessional.
I rented a vehicle on February 20 and made it very clear that I only wanted to pay for Enterprise’s insurance coverage for three days. Weeks later, on March 3, I received a call saying I owed over $200 for insurance I never agreed to. I spoke with the manager, Evan, and he assured me he would correct it.
My return date was March 11. On that day, I called to request an extension and was told it would be submitted. I then went into the location around 1:30 PM to confirm everything in person. The employee at the front desk told me there was no return date on my rental and that I was fine to keep the car until Monday. I asked clearly if that was okay, and she confirmed it was.
I returned the vehicle on March 16 at 1:30 PM, and no one mentioned any additional charges.
Two days later, I received another call saying I now owed $91 for an extension fee. I asked to speak with Evan, was told he was out of town, and later received a voicemail from him. I returned his call and requested a callback, which I never received. Now I am being contacted about collections for charges I made every effort to avoid.
This location is clearly disorganized. Staff provide conflicting information, there is no accountability, and communication is extremely poor. When customers take the time to call, show up in person, and confirm details, they should not be penalized due to internal mismanagement.
I will not be returning to this location. If you choose to rent here, get everything in writing and double check every detail. This experience showed a serious lack of professionalism and transparency when it comes to handling customers and their money.

Don't even bother wasting your time here horrible customer service.. They never have the car that you want when you order it through the main number They have crappy cars they all smell like smoke You'd better be better off going to a place by the airport for cheaper per day that have better cars.. no wonder their reputation has been going down all these years

Outstanding service as always at Enterprise on Sunrise Blvd!
I’ve rented from Enterprise many times, and the team at the Fort Lauderdale Sunrise Blvd location (1311 E Sunrise Blvd) continues to deliver amazing service every single time. Even though I don’t remember the names of the wonderful team members who helped me, they were friendly, efficient, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
From the moment I arrived until I drove off, everything was handled with care and professionalism. It’s clear the whole team takes pride in what they do, and that really shows.
A big thank you to the entire crew at the Sunrise Blvd location and to Enterprise as a company for consistently excellent service. You make renting a car easy and enjoyable — I’ll definitely be back!
We needed a car for a quick vacation in Fort Lauderdale and had a really pleasant experience at the Sunrise Blvd location. One gentleman seemed disgruntled, but the staff handled it politely and professionally. The young woman who helped us with our rental was clear, kind, and easy to work with. The car was clean, well maintained, and drove great. Honestly, it even made me consider switching to Mazda lol. Thank you.

Too often people like Kate aren't available to help or go the extra mile in today's world. I wanted to take a moment to share how impressed and grateful I was for the exceptional service I received. On a very rainy day, I found myself in need of a last minute rental, and your team went above and beyond to help me out.
They not only dropped the car off to me at my hotel in the morning, they were kind enough to drop me off back to my hotel at the end of the day. That level of convenience made a huge difference for me and really showed how much she and her team cares about her customers. They didn’t just do their job, they made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
