    We've been standing in line for over an hour and they've only rented cars to about 10 people. No one is coming out to the line to tell is whats going on. Finally just asked one of the few people they've actually served and he said they don't have cars. This is friggin ridiculous. They're a car rental company at a south Florida airport in March and they don't have enough cars to cover the reservations they've made. I will never rent from these clowns again and recommend you avoid them like the plague. Incompetence and garbage customer service at its worst. I'd give zero stars but it won't let me.

    I recently rented a BMW 5 Series from Sixt at the Fort Lauderdale (FLL) Airport location. As a corporate account customer, I’ve always had very good experiences with Sixt, both in the United States and throughout Europe, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. The vehicle I received was unfortunately not in acceptable condition. Once the car reached about 55 mph, it began to vibrate significantly, making the drive uncomfortable and concerning from a safety standpoint. On top of that, the interior smelled strongly like an ashtray, which made the overall experience even worse. Because this was only a one-day rental and I had a tight schedule, I didn’t have the time to return to the airport to exchange the vehicle. I reported the issue and expected at least some level of acknowledgment or compensation for the inconvenience. More than anything, I’m disappointed by how this situation was handled. Sixt has always set a high standard in my past rentals, which is why this experience stood out for the wrong reasons. I hope the company takes better care in the condition of vehicles and in how customer complaints are addressed in the future.

    I had such a wonderful experience with Lilly at Sixt Rental Car! From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. She made the entire rental process quick, easy, and completely stress-free. Lilly went above and beyond to make sure I had the perfect vehicle and took the time to clearly explain everything so I felt confident and taken care of. Her positive attitude and attention to detail truly made a difference in my trip. Customer service like this is rare, and Lilly is a great example of what exceptional service looks like. Sixt is lucky to have her on their team! I would absolutely rent here again because of the fantastic experience she provided.

    Terrible customer service experience. I was matched with this company by Hotwire, since I typically rent with Enterprise but they were sold out. After going through the gauntlet of upsells by their sales team, I got my car for my two young boys. After returning the car after a week rental, they charged by credit card an additional $150 for cleaning. Now, I've rented a car at least twice a year for the last 5 years, and we've always returned it with some sand in the backseat. Kids on a beach trip. Nothing a 5 minute vac wouldn't take care of. But $150 charge to me a car detailing at my expense. Save yourself the hassle and don't rent with these guys. Also, I never leave bad reviews (take a look at all my other Google Reviews) so it takes a lot to get me upset with a company.
