Ridiculously poor service. Three months have passed since I asked them to take care of my boat title and registration. No updates and no one returns phone calls or answers the office phone.
Avoid at all cost. My next step will probably be legal action.
Saxton helped us every step of the way. Because of our situation, not using a broker, we needed help with all the steps. They really stepped up to help us with the purchase process, providing everything we needed to help close the sale in about 2 days - super helpful. Then we continued to use their service for the USCG documentation and the state registration. COVID came along and slowed the whole thing down, understandably. However, I reached out to Jan and she stepped in to help make everything right. Throughout the whole process, communication was great, especially for someone like us, where we struggled to understand all the steps. They were always nice and helpful both on the phone and in email. It's a complicated process and they handled it as efficiently as possible considering the circumstances related to the pandemic. I would highly recommend them and further plan to pass along their info to anyone we meet along the way that needs help with all the stages of boat buying, registration, and documentation.
If you like to wait for nearly 3 months for registration of new owner at the Delaware boat registry this is the place for you.
Initial contact and response was OK and they were very quick to charge my credit card. After that it was total silence, no answering of emails and phone calls. Only after close to three months and countless of unanswered mails and calls I finally got the new registration documents.
At the end I thought the whole thing was a scam and I was about to initiate a credit card reclaim procedure claiming fraud when I received the documents.

I dealt with Saxton Documentation Services for quite a few years. They were always the folks to turn to when things got difficult. If you had a documentation or closing problem, they had a solution. Closings were always completed in a timely, professional and friendly manner. Jan and her daughters are without question, "THE BEST" in the business, at what they do.
