  National’s brand has always been built on one thing: freedom to choose your car based on your status. That’s the reason many of us stay loyal. I’ve held Executive Elite status for over 10 years. In most National locations, the experience is exactly what the program promises: you walk in, choose your car from the aisle that matches your tier, and drive out. No friction, no issues, no conversations needed. But Fort Lauderdale (FLL) has turned that experience into something else. The Executive Elite cars are not accessible or open for selection like other locations. Staff repeatedly challenges status and reservations, even when the system already confirms everything. It defeats the entire purpose of the loyalty program and what makes National different from every other rental company. Availability is also a problem now. I was placed in a vehicle with 65,000+ miles. I’ve rented from National long enough to know that mileage is not the standard. I even had to ask if it was a staff member’s personal car, because I’ve never been handed a rental in that condition from National. Cleaning has declined too — poor interior wipe-downs, poor prep, and cars that don’t feel ready to rent. National is still a strong brand everywhere else, but FLL has completely missed what the company stands for: loyalty, choice, convenience, and quality. Executive Elite should mean something.   Try to get in touch with the Corporate Office to let them know about my great experience with Pierline at your Fort Lauderdale airport location she was awesome. I’ve never experienced such great service.

  I booked an express deal thru Priceline and was assigned this agency. I paid the Priceline guaranteed rate upfront. I came prepared with my insurance card and policy as I always refuse coverage. I was told that there is a mandatory fee that I would pay upfront if I wanted the rental which I already paid for with Priceline. I had previously rented thru Ace, Hertz and Fox thru Priceline and never heard of this deceptive policy. Being I already paid I was in no position to argue because the rep at the counter would not release my rental without the up charge. I have put in a complaint with Priceline and they are investigating this location. I have looked at all the small print on Priceline’s website and nowhere is there any mention this.
