When we arrived to pick up our rental Enterprise did not have the vehicle we reserved. Disappointing, but not a huge deal. The 3rd day of having our rental the tire pressure light came on so we stopped and put air in the tire. A few minutes later it was back on, so I called Enterprise customer service and we discussed going to an agreed location to pick up another car, but when we stopped to put air in the tire again we found a screw in the tire and realized the tire wouldn’t make it that far, so we went to the nearest Enterprise location and they told us they would give us a different vehicle, but after an hour they said there was an issue with the system and it was not allowing them to give us another vehicle that our only option was to go back to the airport and even if the airport wasn’t 2 hours away in the opposite direction we were traveling on our short vacation the tire wouldn’t make it that far. At this point the tire has gone completely flat so they did let us fill the tire up before we left. We then went to a tire shop across the street who told us the tire couldn’t be fixed it would have to be replaced that we should go to to a different tire shop because they had an acct with Enterprise. So we go to the next tire shop and he tells us he can put in a claim, but it is up to Enterprise if they will pay for the tire or not. So again my husband calls Enterprise customer service and they tell him we could pay for a brand new tire and they “might” reimburse us. Four hours out of our short vacation was taken up by dealing with a tire and all Enterprise would do is tell us to drive 2 hours in the opposite direction back to the airport on an unsafe tire that wouldn’t make it. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

I rent cars at all times because of my job and a few personal uses. This particular Enterprise never have sedans. It's so difficult to get one. You have to wait and ruin part of my day doing so, or just get NOT what you reserved. My husband, that also rents here for work, had to tell them to put a not "no SUV's unless requested" note on his account profile. Enterprise told me that another location has their sedans because it is a more no credit card friendly branch. So the people that really have credit cards cannot get at this facility what they are requesting for, I guess Bad management. I'm tired of them both at this facility, Enterprise and National. The executive experience that you get in other stares is not given in Daytona Beach Airport at all. I've given so many opportunities through out the years, but no, one star is what they get this time until they start supplying more cars.

I have rented from Enterprise quite a bit and at one point my wife worked for the company and even at the FLL airport location so I know full and well what the staff is able to do to be accommodating. Plenty of times Enterprise would allow me to create a reservation and the branch I booked at didn’t have anything on the lot and I was left waiting to get any kind of vehicle let alone the type that I actually reserved. Today I took the minivan I’m currently in (provided by my fleet company while my new work truck is getting upfitted) to be exchanged since it now has a crack in the windshield that is halfway up the entire windshield. They said that they are fully booked and could only get me into a Mitsubishi Mirage, yet they had 11 full sized SUVs and a bunch of other options that could’ve worked, but Randall confirmed with who I’m assuming was a manager and came back to me and was very nice about saying keep driving this safety hazard and take it to another branch so we don’t have to deal with writing a claim. From now on I’ll just deal with Avis

Had to fly to Florida for a family funeral. I rented a "mid-sized SUV" from Enterprise for 3 days to be picked up at the airport. When I arrived, they "didn't have any left" but would I accept a Jeep? Sure, I've owned a Jeep. It turned out to be a hybrid that WREAKED of cigarettes. I called once we got to the hotel and was told, though there was an Enterprise in Tamarac, I could only return it o the airport. I'll keep the windows open and deal with it for 2 more days. The 2nd day it wouldn't run on either motor or engine AT THE FUNERAL. Not in a position to call for help, I got out of the vehicle, locked all doors, unlocked the doors, got in and it then started. I didn't shut it off until we got back to the hotel. The next day, when we needed to be at the airport by 9:30a, it would not run at all. I tried all things technical. Same move as the day before. I even got 2 extension cords from the hotel, plugged it it and received an error on the dash that the charging system needs service. Though it should be charging itself with the engine running, it wasn't. Though the electric side wasn't functioning it still should have run by engine (gas). It didn't. We had to Uber it to the airport missing the flight. I called Enterprise the next day and filed the claim. I was told "someone from the rental agency would call within 24hrs". I've been told that same thing for the past 4 days. I cancelled the charge today. I don't expect to get the Uber charge covered either. It turns out that this vehicle already has a recall for charging systems issues and BATTERY FIRES!! Worst rental and customer service. UPDATE: The contact information provided in their response attached is the same one I've already called 4 times and got no calls back when I was told 4 times someone would call within 24hrs. Worthless response.

This review is about the Fort Lauderdale airport. They shut down at 1 a.m. and there is no after-hours service even if you have a confirmed rental. Their contingency service is sending you to Alamo while other companies will direct you to your car on the lot using their app. Now I know why they don't charge upfront for cars. It's because they won't guarantee you a car. With nearly all flights late due to the shutdown, you might get there and find the lot empty. My flight was late, and I got there after closing. There were no cars or staff on the Enterprise lot. I was lucky enough to find an Alamo staff on the Alamo lot who told me to grab the keys to one of the 2 last cars on the lot, the tiniest cars available. When I got back to the car with my luggage, I found a family loading their luggage into the car. They had been assigned A car at the desk. I showed them the keys, and they had to unload their luggage and make for the last car. I didn't hang around to see if that one had keys in it. Their technology is decades old. They would be my last resort.
