- MCMatthew CJun 22, 20255.0I've been into this store a few times the past year. Everyone is friendly and tries to be helpful. In particular, I want to call out Shawn who has helped me read my Check Engine light code. I recognized him instantly from a few months ago. He is knowledgeable and resourceful. He helps me interpret the check engine light code by looking it up online. Amy was able to assist Shawn to find the correct device and Shawn was hands-on to help me. I was grateful to Shawn for his help and I look forward to visiting the store again for other reasons. Because I cannot write a 2nd review, I am added to this previous review. Shawn was not there during this visit but Jose and Camryn (I think that was his name) were so friendly and helpful. My mother's car died in the parking lot when I was trying to have them check the alternator. Camryn tried to help me at first. However, because the car refused to start, I called AAA for help. Even when I told I called AAA, Jose still took the initiative to be curious and be helpful. It was not his responsibility and yet he went out of his way to help me. Jose has a quiet confidence and demeanor. His insight and intervention allowed me to cancel my help call to AAA. I am so grateful to this particular store who seem to attract some of most respectful and helpful employees. This store needs special recognition for cultivating the right employees. Treat them nicely. They are the ones that compel me to return to this store when I need things.

- AMAly MarDec 11, 20211.0Find the part I need on the shelf and it’s the last one. Bring it up to the counter to buy it. The cashier drops and breaks it. Tells me they can have another here that day so I say “ok”. I get a call later that day saying it won’t be here until tomorrow, I say “ok”. Show up the next day and turns out they can’t get another one. I asked for a refund and they say “let me see what I can do”. I then wait 30 minutes while they try and process the refund. What a waist of time.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
