  I was on a vacation in Port Charlotte and my vehicle was all of a sudden pouring out oil. The assistant manager Daniel and his crew could not have been nicer or more helpful. They took a look underneath and determined I should not be driving the vehicle so I had to call a tow truck, had to call several dealerships and make arrangements etc. They let me keep my vehicle in one of the bays until the tow truck arrived. Since they couldn’t do the oil change, they didn’t charge me anything. Just a super group of guys.

  Second time I’ve used this location after realizing my local dealership was ripping me off. Great staff they always have coupons online and twice now I’ve had great customer service with Jasmine. You pull your car into the bay. They open the door they scan door bar code which pulls up all car info on newer cars. Today I was getting an oil change, they check your lights, wipers, fluids and filters. Today Devon was my person working on the car. Upbeat positive great energy. He pulled out air filter, was recommended the filter be replaced. I took advantage of it even got few bucks off. He topped off all the fluids, checked air tire pressure. Jasmine is a great Customer service rep, they made lots of recommendations. You choose yes or no to do them at visit. Not pushy, super friendly. Valvoline is a fast clean quick option for me. This location is right on 776 in Englewood. I will never go back to my dealership ever again. Love these folks !! Devin you trained your staff well !! A++++

  It was an awesome experience and it was my first time going to Valvoline Express. 10/10 recommend, I honestly would never go anywhere else. I felt like I was held hostage at Tires Plus and Firestone previously, this was a refreshing experience. Devin and his team were great.

  Just had my second oil change done here. Based on the initial friendliness and professionalism of the staff, I would have given them 5 stars, however after my oil change yesterday, I watched them questioning the correct oil level once complete. When I got home, I checked it again myself and it was low. I waited until the next morning to check it cold and it was still BELOW the safe line. I went back and was met by the manager Devin. I explained that I had an oil change done yesterday and my oil level was below the safe line. At first Devin tried to sell me a new oil change. After the 3rd time of explaining my situation to Devin, he checked the oil himself, realized it was low and then started explaining the charges I would incur for them to "top it off". I was furious and explained that I paid yesterday for an oil change and it wasn't right. Finally they agreed to top it off. I watched them add more oil two times to get to the proper level. I certainly understand that things happen, but when I have to fight for you to make it right, there is a problem.

  Would give a lower rating but the employee that approached me & advised me of their inability to change my vehicle's oil was polite & professional. The disconnect in this scenario is when I called in advance to verify if they did oil changes to Mini Coopers it connected me to an AI assistant that when I asked if they did those at this location it advised that they did. Take 5 got my business for they had all supplies needed to do this service for me.
