  I've never actually gone to this place for mechanic work and I certainly never would after this incident but I feel that anybody considering doing business with this place should hear this. This happened last September. My car broke down one night and I couldn't afford to have it towed to my house so it was towed to Emery Auto. I had considered having them look at it and give me an estimate but I'm certainly glad that I didn't. On the second day I called to tell them that I would be getting it out of there as quickly as possible, although I don't know if this message was ever passed on to the owner. I will admit that it was there for about a week before I found somebody to tow it away but by this time, the car had disappeared. I spoke to the owner and he told me that he didn't know what had happened to the car and he assumed that I had come and taken it away, which was a lie. I made several calls and was unable to locate my car so naturally I filed a police report reporting it as stolen. The police went and spoke to the owner of Emery Auto and he even lied to them initially telling them that he didn't know what had happened to my car and he was too busy to go back and look on the cameras and to come back on Monday. Well instead I called him back Monday and heard exactly what I was expecting to hear. He saw nothing on the cameras. I'm not stupid and knew damn well what had happened. The police went back and questioned him again after they found my car the following week in a scrap yard in Punta Gorda at least what was left of it and he finally admitted that he had sold my vehicle as scrap. The car did not belong to him and he didn't have the title and the plates were still on my car which I had to go to the DMV and report them as stolen because I never got them back. This was against the law. I'm not sure why the police were not able to prosecute him or perhaps they just don't care to for their own reasons but I'm currently in the process of filing a small claims suit against Emery Auto and the scrap yard. I know what he would say or will say here when he sees this post. I wanted the car off my property, well in that case you should have had the car impounded. You had no business selling my car to some crooked scrap yard just because you wanted it out of your parking lot. What you did was against the law and you knew that and that's why you lied to me trying to cover yourself. Either that or you were afraid that if you told me the truth I might come down there and believe me I wanted to. Anybody considering taking their vehicle here for business be wary because if he would do this, why would he give a second thought to pulling something shady on one of his customers and after reading a few of his less than positive reviews I wouldn't be surprised if he already has.

  Took our Class C Motorhome in for an oil change, They performed multiple checks along with the oil change.. we will be bringing our vehicles in for service in the future.

  I think this company is top notch. Staff is courteous, professional, accomdating l and a pleasure to work with. Takes time to explain things.
