Amanda was great. The Rest of her support staff is absolutely garbage. 30 grand later i get stuck in Montana due to faulty wiring. Knowing damn well they were not supposed to install a 220 dryer in my coach. But it should be fine right? No accountability whatsoever. Was never offered any type of compensation other than Amanda feeling bad because her team didnt double check my coach. Wouldn't recommend.. ohh just remembered they sold me to redo my slide covered and I had to cut the 20 foot long one off the buss becuase it came undone 400 miles after being installed and never even had the slides out. Great job guys

Domenick in sales was absolutely awesome! He went above my expectations to make sure we got everything we needed on a time crunch. Sam C. was also amazing with our walkthrough. He throughly explained things and didn’t get frustrated with our numerous questions. My only complaint is with Tommy in finance. He called less than 30 min after we left and wanted more payment, which we completed on the spot, I get that things get missed occasionally. Then called 2 days later and told me that he was going to charge my “card on file” an additional $3000, first off, I never authorized anyone to keep my card on file, and we definitely do not owe another $3000. Turns out he didn’t complete additional loan paperwork that was supposed to complete before we initially left. Then acted like it was our fault that he didn’t do his job. So…this location is great, with the exception of Tommy in finance.

After spending 16k with them at the RV show, I decided to also let them replace my bulb seals on my four slides of my class A. Within 3 weeks they started falling off. I took it back immediately. I asked them if they would replace them and do them the right way they said yes. I returned back home, a hour and a half away within a week those started coming off so I called back and I took him back a third time and I practically begged them to make sure they’re done right this time because I will be gone for the whole summer it will not be back until December. They swore to me that they will do them the right way that they had an inexperienced tech on it and this time they had a more experienced tech on it and that I will not have a problem with him. That was in March when we left for the summer. It only lasted a couple weeks before they started falling off again and I called and emailed and texted multiple times with no response when I finally got back in December they told me it was too late and I explained the situation with them and they kept promising that we will resolve the situation and they strung me along until March always promising resolution until the one year original warranty went out and then they said there’s nothing we can do. I’m very well documented. I have copies of all my emails text, notes on my phone calls and who I spoke with corporate promised me that they would get involved and that they would make it right and then corporate backtracked and said it’s all up to the dealership. I have no idea what their new sales are like, but I can tell you from the service end very very dishonest people. The service department will act like your best friend until you approve the service work. Once the sale is done it is a night mare. I also bought lithium batteries from them. And ask them to make sure that the whole system was operating functionally and they said it was and they neglected to put a new controller in which caused one and a half less volts going through my system, which burned up over a two year period of time my hydraulic motor/pump costing me about $5000.

Was able to make an appointment the next day via the central appointment center in Michigan. Maryann is amazing and made sure she accommodated us as soon as possible. Once the appointment was confirmed, we went to General RV the afternoon before our early appointment the next day. They accommodate us with a site we could stay in until the next morning. Shawn was amazing, very attentive to our questions and concerns. He kept us updated on every aspect of diagnosis to what the next step would be/parts needed and how long it would be before our coach would be ‘road worthy’ again. Had to wait several days for part due to holidays; however, they accommodated us with a site so we could continue to live in our coach. Shawn was on holiday vacation, so Katie was our advisor when the part arrived. She is amazing, kept us up-to-date on the status of our coach. If in the area again and have any issues, we will definitely schedule an appointment with General RV, Dover, FL.

⭐ General RV = “Run Vigorously Away” ⭐ (And yes… that’s generous.) If you’re thinking about doing business with General RV, let me help you out: Run. Jog if you must. Sprint if you can. Cardio saves lives—and wallets. From purchasing in Pennsylvania to yet another repair attempt in Florida, the experience has been the same rerun episode: confusion, excuses, and frustration. Who buys a brand-new 2025 Admiral Rambler expecting adventure and freedom, only to end up starring in a never-ending service department sitcom? Spoiler alert: it’s not a comedy. Credit where it’s due: • Madison, the service advisor, was kind and professional.GREAT person and did her very BEST. • The service tech was AMAZING—knowledgeable, respectful, and clearly trying to hold this whole thing together with duct tape and good intentions. Unfortunately, leadership ruins the vibe. The Service Foreman? Let’s just say if customer service were a language, he’d be fluent in sarcasm and attitude. Not helpful. Not accountable. Definitely not charming. For context: my husband already left a review—and that was him being nice. This one? This is the unfiltered director’s cut. I don’t sugarcoat, especially when the pattern keeps repeating. Now about the rating: one star is me being graceful. If zero stars were allowed, I’d happily choose that. When you shoot for the stars with General RV, you don’t land on the moon—you get coals. Burnt dreams. Charred expectations. Marshmallows not included. When you spend this kind of money on a brand-new RV, you expect support, respect, and solutions—not deflection, attitude, and a cross-country tour of disappointment. This wasn’t a one-off. It wasn’t one bad day. It’s been consistent. Buyer beware. If peace of mind matters to you, do not make this mistake.
