Due to a malfunction with their credit card machine, I was accidentally charged twice for the transaction. My credit card statement clearly shows two separate, fully posted charges. When I called the business to resolve the issue, the employee I spoke with insisted that since their internal email invoice only showed one charge, I was "not charged twice." They refused to believe my bank statement or take any steps to investigate the two separate transactions. I was forced to escalate the issue by filing a formal dispute with my credit card company. My credit card company investigated and confirmed that two separate transactions were processed by the merchant, proving the billing error. Despite this definitive confirmation of their mistake, the merchant has still not initiated the refund for the second, unauthorized charge, which was for a service I did not receive. Go somewhere else!
