  3 times now your so-called upgraded self service registers have approved a hold on gas for one of your pumps, only for me to get back to the pump and have an error that cancels the transaction (but doesn't cancel the hold on funds). Unfortunately the register people and even management can do nothing- or choose to do nothing- about this because they say it's not showing on their side, although it's showing on my bank as a pending transaction, and yet they act inept and powerless over the situation. Even though they both agreed that the new updated system is terrible and has no end of problems- their words. A refund or hold lift that's coming in 48 hours does nothing for me when I'm using the last of my money to get gas from my available balance and your system approved the purchase out of my available funds. I'm very disappointed in the service of RaceTrac and I will be using another gas station. I've been using you guys for years but I'm absolutely over it now. This is multiple times and your company must just not care to fix the problem or to give options to make the customer whole at the time of purchase. There should be some way inside the store to move the pump credit over to a different pump or to completely undo the transaction so it shows immediately on the bank side. Very disappointed. And now shocking, your captcha isn't working right to approve my comment on your website. Thankfully I can use maps to leave this information for other people.

  Unfortunately this is the only gas station open on my way home from work at 5:00 in the morning I got gas at the pump and they put $133 hold on my account purchase 29.99 worth of gas and the total was 162.99. 133 dollar hold is insane. Don't paybat the pump whatever you do. Absolute rip off. Luckily I have free overdraft protection on my cash app card. Never heard of a hold so high. Racetrac seems to be the only one charging this absurd amount. But I can't complain about the overall experience I got a couple free hot dogs because when I went inside to get a pack of cigarettes two hot dogs and gas the lady just looked at me like I was stupid and only charged me for the cigarettes so thanks for the free hot dogs.
