- JAJeremiah AmayaFeb 23, 20265.0This is my go to store just because of how great the employees are Jesus and the other Jesus as well as Dean answered all my questions gave me tips and just really provided good customer service, I did notice that whoever’s in charge of the landscaping needs to Be replaced by somebody better I drove past the place because I couldn’t even see because of the overgrown bushes employees were outside, trying to blow the leaves, but due to everything not being taken care of on a regular basis it still looked neglected!

I went to Advance Auto Parts for a battery check. My mechanic (who I've had for over 10 years, but he wasn't available) usually does this. I went into the store and met Jesus. What a polite, dedicated, responsible, and empathetic young man with such charisma that my heart told me I was in good hands. Jesus is the kind of person any company would want as a Manager, Supervisor, Team Manager, or Team Leader. He is incredibly knowledgeable. He really knows what he's doing. He treated me with such dedication, taking the time to explain everything. He even gave me advice for next time. The world needs more people like you, Jesus. Does Advance Auto test and install batteries?
Yes we do offer free battery installation on most products with purchase. We will also recycle and test your battery for free regardless if you bought it from us. Battery testing and installation is available at most of our locations.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.
What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.
How much does a car battery cost?

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
