I went in not knowing if I needed a new battery or if my alternator was the issue and he went above and beyond to check my car out and let me know that everything was actually working properly on both ends and I was just letting my car sit for too long as I do not drive very often anymore. He even cleaned the corrosion off my battery for me! Now when the time comes to replace parts I will 100% be back. This was a couple weeks ago and my car has been working fine since! I am so grateful!

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
