  GREAT EXPERIENCE working with Manager Joel at Daytona Florida’s Enterprise Truck Rental. Joel is simply SPECTACULAR, and as a business professional who encounters ALL “versions” of people, my opinion merits credibility. I regularly rent with Enterprise, and I’ve found that to the extent that overall, it’s a good company, its systems and policies are not always as professional as Enterprise and its customers would BOTH want… I showed-up up at Manager Joel’s location with a reservation that never should have been created and was facing a ruinous, time-sensitive catastrophe. Yet, TOGETHER, Joel and I worked-out a solution to our MUTUAL benefit as reasonable and competent people. Frankly, I credit MOSTLY Joel’s years of expertise and working with the general public more than my own participation in resolving the matter in a way that FIXED the problem which was caused by Enterprise’s “deficient” system—(THIS IS MY OWN OPINION ABOUT ENTERPRISES BOOKING SYSTEM; Manger Joel did NOT badmouth Enterprise.) The fact that Enterprise is SMART enough to have Manager Joel on its team goes to show that Enterprise has at least a little “on the ball” , and that it cares enough about its customers to have someone as competent and smart as Manager Joel to work with customers. ANY company can do business easily when things go smoothly—but it takes real “smarts” as a manager to go out of his way NOT ONLY to save a deficient reservation (that he didn’t cause), but ALSO to make the effort to preserve MY relationship with Enterprise. My relationship with Enterprise SURELY would have broken-down BUT FOR Joel’s superior ability to ensure customer satisfaction. It’s ONLY by encounters with excellent human managers such as Joel who are not only pleasant people, but who also fix the types of problems caused by computer systems, that my faith is restored that AI won’t be entirely replacing humans anytime soon.
