- NENorm E3 days ago3.0We had a 33" Crack in our windshield. Our insurance company suggested Safelite. We called Safelite and they said we could come in or they could send a tech to our home. We were going up to Daytona anyway the next day so we opted for coming into their store. When we arrived the receptionist was not at her station. So we and two other customers waited for 22 min for her to show up. She immediately stated in a very rude voice that WE were 22 min late! She stated this twice in a very derogatory voice! We ended up walking out after making an appt for a tech to come to our home. Wasted day! The tech that came out was a wonderful, friendly man, who did a pro job of installing our new windshield. If we have any problems after it rains, or any other problem, we'll just use our lifetime warranty. Thank you.
