Afterward, I vacuumed and dried my rims, and I had inspected each one closely, so I was familiar with their condition. A couple of days later, I returned for another wash. As I was being guided onto the conveyor, the staff member motioned for me to continue straight. While going through, I heard a loud thump and noticed my car jolting more than usual. When I got out, I saw significant new damage on my front driver’s rim that had not been there earlier. When I spoke with staff, the same employee photographed all four rims and pointed out some existing minor scuffs on the opposite side. While those scuffs were already there, the damage on the driver’s side rim was noticeably worse and appeared new to me. During the conversation, he suggested that the damage might have occurred because I wasn’t following his directions when entering the wash; however, the only instruction I recall receiving was to continue straight. I understand situations like this can be hard to resolve, but I was disappointed in how it was handled. I was told a manager would follow up, but I never received a call. Based on my experience, I would recommend considering other car wash options.
