I was assisted by ‘Destiny’ and she was good at her job. Did the quick oil change. Really appreciate their work on this. They also asked if I would like to change backlight bulb which is out. After verifying, I accepted the sale. First they said that bulb change is not enough as probably wiring is faulty, later they realized that they are installing the wrong bulb. Finally confirmed that everything looks good. Once I came back home, I see that bulb is still out and I just wasted the money there. Not a quality job on light replacement.

We were traveling from Butler PA and are Valvoline Customers of a store in the Grove City PA t managed by Ken Frenchak and owned by Tracey and Robb Ritenour. I just wanted a fluid and tire check before I drove back to our home. The Assistant Manager Larry was very responsive, polite and represented the Valvoline standards well. Please recognize Larry as he was just wonderful and caring meeting my request for the travel check. Also, my daughter was there a few days ahead and received a full-service oil change before the return trip. Thank you, Larry, for being a good person and a quality representative of the Valvoline Express Lube team.

I know that sounds like a minor expectation....but as a woman, I frequently get either flat out lied to about the cost of things because they think I'm dumb and can charge me more, or they try to make inappropriate passes at me. I came here before, and it was a bad experience. There was a tech that wouldn't stop trying to hit on me the whole time even though I clearly didn't want to engage with him. He made some comments that were definitely crossing the line. It was very off putting and I didn't really want to come back to this location. I've switched locations I got my car's basic maintenance at if I was harassed. The negative experience was my first experience at this valvoline. I'm not one to call employees out negatively or leave a bad review naming someone, because you just don't know what's going on in someone else's life, I'd much rather give gratitude to good employees. So that's why I'm not calling out a bad apple specifically, they may no longer even work there. I'm so glad I gave it a second chance. Every tech I interacted with was professional, friendly, and just nice to interact with or conversate briefly with. There was a woman who took care of me, I forgot her name but she and the guys that took care of me were awesome. If you're a woman looking for basic maintenance on a car without being up sold or lied to excessively and want nice people doing the work that aren't making you uncomfortable, give this place a go.
