- DDDanielMar 27, 20261.0I was helped by the general manager Carlos, at first what seemed to be an honest person who came off as very helpful. Actually was deceiving, once I took a look at my receipt I realized I was charged for 2 items I did not purchase. A pair of gloves ($1.50) and some sort of lubricant/protector for spark plugs ($7.96) I went the very next day to return basically everything he recommended except for the spark plugs and tools I may have needed, saved about $100. When I asked about the 2 items I was charged for that I didn't receive he said it was a 'promotion' which to me a promotion is something you're given not charged for. Honestly even after brining it up twice to him how I wanted the credit he appeared to do some work on the computer but I never got the credit/money back, after looking at my return receipt. At that point I just took the loss and didn't want to cause a scene. But I'd be very vigilant at what you're charged for once checking out, people can come off as great and helpful but are actually very deceiving.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
