Went in because my battery was dying. They help me replace the battery and then said my alternator needed replaced. They gave me a bunch of names of people that could help me. So I went to one of my own repair shops. They said there was nothing wrong with my alternator. Something seems fishy.

Everyone I've encountered at this location has been extremely helpful and honest. As a woman, I appreciate that. I'm sorry I'm terrible with names and I can only remember Randy. However, there's a young man with dark hair and another man with grayish hair and a well trimmed, grayish goatee, both of whom were as nice & helpful as Randy. I'd come here anytime for DIY supplies, or a partial system check. This particular visit, I needed a battery and they had it installed in ~15mins at a fair price. Thanks guys!!

This location likes to get DoorDash to deliver parts for pennies on the dollar and then the drivers, A don’t know where to go or B don’t speak English.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?
Expand FAQ item
Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
