So I came here to get 2 new tires, at the end the lady told me I needed new brakes and new rotors. She said my brakes were metal on metal and that it would be $1200 and after saying 3 separate times that I could not do that she finally said okay. I got my father to change my brakes that cost me $70 and he showed me where my breaks were definitely not metal on metal and my rotors were completely fine and didn’t need to be changed. Clearly we’re trying to take advantage of customers. I was in there with my baby and yall just tried to get me out of my money. Why are we lying about what’s going on to customers?
The manager tai is stubborn, irrational, and unprofessional. After telling him that only ine tpms sensor was bad, he insisted to change two other ones to find out that it didn't fix the issue. He then told me he gave me the 3rd one free and charged for two after saying the tester battery was bad. I was there for 7 hours. Worst service I've ever had in my life in a business.

I visited Mavis to have multiple services completed on my vehicle, including brakes, rotors, an alignment, and new tires. Initially, my car seemed to be running fine after the service. However, a few days later, I began hearing a metal banging noise coming from underneath the vehicle.
I contacted Mavis and explained that I had recently moved and asked if I could bring my car to a different location closer to my home. They confirmed that I could, so I took it to another Mavis location. After inspecting the vehicle, they told me everything was fine but recommended an additional service costing approximately $400, which had nothing to do with the work that was previously completed. I declined at that time.
Shortly after leaving, the noise became significantly worse. Concerned, I took my car to a local independent mechanic for a second opinion. I was then informed that the original Mavis location in Clermont had failed to properly tighten the bolts on my rotors, and the front driver’s side was missing a bolt entirely. As a result, the caliper was being held on by a single loose bolt and was close to detaching.
This was an extremely dangerous situation, as it could have led to a complete loss of braking while driving. It is also concerning that the second Mavis location in Saint Cloud failed to identify this serious issue during their inspection.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Mavis. The level of workmanship and oversight in this situation was unacceptable and put my safety at significant risk.

Booked appt on MAVIS website and stop at the store. They had moved it to Tire Kingdom which is another brand they own. Not where I booked. I ended up having to drive somewhere else and wait way longer because they let walkin guests go first. The other location was not even prepared for the appt. Confused about which tire to pull.

I took my 2005 Lexus with a suspected bad bearing. This was the fourth place I had taken my car because of an intermittent metal noise in one of my wheels. The third place suspected the bearing but did not have the equipment to replace one. Robert began to do a thorough inspection underneath my car as well as the wheels. He found something he suspected caused the noise but also a larger problem. Of course everyone’s first thought is, “Yeah, right. Here comes the unexpected expensive fixes.” He brought me to my car and pointed out two of my year-old tires that had significant wear on the insides. My car had an alignment 13 months prior. He suspected bad struts and said they should be replaced about every 50,000 miles. My car was 85,000 miles past the first replacement. I approved the work and left my car there for the day. The next morning on their final test drive, the intermittent noise sounded off. He took it back inside the shop and found the problem; a tiny broken part behind the wheel. They secured the part and fixed it pretty quickly.
I am glad the mystery has been solved and I truly believe he saved me from serious tire damage and an unstable suspension because of worn-out struts. I have been to this shop several times and had great service on my wheels, brakes and tires. Even though it is much farther than a local Mavis, I will return for tires and wheels.
