  Went to get brakes and routers for my car. The quote I received was a little higher than the one I had gotten from another location but the manager was very helpful and willing to do a price match. I’m definitely planning on using them for all future repairs.

  I had bad brakes. I didn't realize how badly they needed to be fixed. Everyone at Mavis understood what was up and fixed it. As I drove away, I'm pretty sure I must have needed my brakes fixed for a long time. I know very little about cars but yesterday I saw how professionals work and I totally appreciate that. My car feels brand new again. Thanks guys!!

  This was the second time I’ve been to this shop. Each time was a walk in. The first to buy a tire and this time for a tire repair. Sherwin was so professional, friendly and accommodating. The waiting area, bathroom and store was very clean and comfortable. I was in and out quickly and will definitely return if I need future service.

  I absolutely loved the service here, I was really worried about my car because I didn’t know if it was a tire issue or something else. They checked out my car and while they didn’t find anything wrong with it, they put air in my tires and made sure the entire car was good. That day their network was down but they still helped me timely, efficiently, and kindly!

  I went to the Mavis Tire and Brakes shop, located at 591 west SR 50, in Clermont, and I have to say, I have never bin so disappointed in a repair as I was with this one! The service was terrible!! I would never go back there again!! I brought my 2021 Ford F150 into the shop at 08:00 am for a break fluid flush, pads and rotor change (all the way around). 6 hours later I was forced to tow my truck out of the shop to Ford of Clermont, because they couldn’t figure out how to reprogram the truck. I drove the truck approximately 45 miles to get to the shop, the mechanic then drove it into the shop, 6 hours later the truck had to be towed out of the shop to the dealership, at my expenses!! I even had to call around to get a tow truck, that took almost an hour to get there! It started out as a simple break inspection, from that a simple brake service, then 6 hours later the truck was unable to be driven out of the shop! It gets better! I was first told that the break service would cause $800.00, after disputing the price, it dropped down to $600.00, plus tax. I was then told that (because they stock their own parts (which he showed me his inventory), it would only take an hour, because he didn’t have to wait for the parts to come in. 6 hours later, I was told that the reason for the long wait is because he had to order parts, and that he was unable to reprogram my truck due to out dated equipment. Due to civil liability I still had to pay for the part that was put on the truck, and Parshall labor for the mechanic that put the parts on. Not only I had to pay the amount for the part and labor, I had to pay for my own tow truck to bring my truck to the dealership! I even lost 4 hours from work, because I had to go in late. While closing out the job, he made it sound like he was doing me a favor by giving me a break in the price (for the parts) that were put on the truck. The job he was unable to do in 6 hours (with NO success), it took the dealership less than30 minutes to correct. Communication, honesty, and transparency goes a long way to a customer who is paying a lot of money for uncompleted services. I am definitely planning to file a grievance with their corporate office, this type of behavior is unacceptable! I am also posting this incident in social media so other innocent customers will not fall into this trap!
