  I was incorrectly charged for 2 things that I asked not to be charged for. I opted to not do the prepaid fuel and on my receipt, I was charged for it. I explicitly asked to not have prepaid fuel and they charged me for it anyway. I also returned the car with a full tank of gas, because I asked to not be charged for prepaid fuel. Why would I do this if I paid for the fuel option? Secondly, I wanted to add another driver and I asked the man at the desk if a fee was associated with that. He told me no and I added another driver. Come to find out that there IS a fee to add a driver and I was lied to. And finally, when I asked the man at the desk what the additional charges on my receipt were for, he told me that they were simply a hold that would be taken off once the car was returned. You would imagine my surprise when I check my credit card to find I was charged for the exact amount that the hold was for. I am incredibly upset and disappointed with how I was treated as a customer and with the dishonesty and lack of integrity that I was met with.

  All employees we had contact with at National Rental Car at Clearwater St. Pete airport were very courteous. Husband has rollator and we had suitcases so each employee was helpful with us moving those items.

  We had a very positive experience renting a car from National. We will definitely use them again in the future!
