I went to 5 tire stores including a well known tire store that was quite disingenuous. Tire Choice not only had the best price, but the service and work was exemplary. A great big thank you to customer service rep, Lex, who not only provided me with lots of assistance in my choice of tires but who is honest, forthright and very, very welcoming. Great person to have working for your company. Thanks to my installers who worked magic to get me out the door in record time.

I brought my car here in early September because my tire pressure light was blinking and I suspected the TPMS was going bad. I dropped my car off. A few hours later they called me while I was at work to give me some bad news: It wasn't just the TPMS, I also needed a plethora of other repairs totalling $1200 (Edit to add: The actual quote was $1900, but when I told them I was a teacher and I could not afford that, they asked "what do we need to bring the cost down to in order for you to get the repairs you need?" And when I told them my paycheck was $1200, they magically lowered the cost of the repairs to that exact amount. Very curious. It makes one wonder if perhaps they were just listing random repairs at random prices that weren't truly needed.) They said they would throw in the replacement of the TPMS "for free" as a courtesy. Fine. I picked my car up that evening and everything seemed okay. A few days later, my tire light started blinking again, indicating the TPMS was again going haywire. I brought my car back in, and they explained it was just an old diagnostic code that they needed to clear with the computer. I thought it was weird, because if the code hadn't been cleared then shouldn't the tire light have still been on immediately upon picking my car up the first time? But, fine. They cleared the code within an hour and again I drove away. Fast forward six weeks to today, and my tire pressure light started blinking AGAIN. Frustrated, I brought my car in immediately. I got told that it was because a TPMS on a different tire had gone bad. The lady, who was the same lady who said she did the initial repair and was the same lady who cleared the code upon my return, told me that this is why it's standard to replace the TPMS on all four tires when one goes bad. I asked, why wasn't that done the first time? She said the person I spoke to messed up, and they only put in an order for the two left tires. (Weren't you the one who did the initial repair, though? If you know that's outside of standard practice, why not correct the order?) She told me it was going to be upwards of $300 to fix it this time. (Why should I be paying for something that you "threw in for free" because you failed to do it in accordance to standard procedure the first time?) She suggested I go buy the part myself at Autozone and bring it back so they could replace it for cheaper, as I'd only be paying for the labor. Fuming, I decided to take her up on the advice, and told her I sure would be leaving to go shop around but I would not be coming back here. I went to a different mechanic. The new mechanic showed me, not told me, SHOWED ME on his device that this place failed to do the initial installment correctly because they didn't program the new TPMS to my car. He had to replace the two that this place failed to, AND recalibrate the two they did. So to summarize, I brought my car in for a TPMS replacement, and left with $1200 worth of other repairs that I now am unsure I ever needed in the first place, and no proper TPMS replacement. I had to spend several hours getting this issue resolved and ended up paying another mechanic to finally fix everything. Who by the way, replaced the remaining two and fixed the first two for $200. As a teacher I don't have much to spare, and I really feel like this place took advantage of me.
