- LLLavender LoveFeb 9, 20262.0I give them props for doing what I asked for quickly and efficiently. But I can’t give them five stars because one of their drivers parked in the handicap parking spot and when I asked him if he was handicap, he told me it’s OK cause he just goes in and out. I told him that was wrong and he just turned and walked away when I asked the worker inside for his company information. He told me oh, he works for us. I said well he’s parking in the handicap parking, but he doesn’t have a handicap parking permit. He didn’t ask the guy if he has a permit in the guy said his permit is on his other car and it’s not transferable and I explained that if he doesn’t have a placard or a plate, he can’t park that vehicle in the handicap parking spot, even if it is for a short period of time I explained that those spaces are for people that are disabled and a few blocks that spot and the customer comes and can’t park close enough even though they have a parking permit that is wrong. He told me he tried to have him get another permit for the work truck. I said they aren’t transferable and then I said that’s effed up their attitudes about it were really sad almost dismissive. I hope they do better.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
