The technician who serviced and carried out the work struggled for almost 3 hours to install a side window in my 2 week old car which was damaged due to breakage.. All the surrounding trim was damaged as a he struggled with the install, the tech stated Nissan gave no information on how to install and he had no support available to offer guidance. Not only was there damage to the trim the interior door panel was on the concrete face down. I brought this to the techs attention and appeared surprised and was somewhat curt after. At this time I decided to watch the remaining install which was a pain to watch as he struggled to complete the task. I raised my concerns to customer service and was told someone would get back to me but they didn’t, I had to make 2 calls and then found out I needed to go to the service center to have it inspected despite the tech stating he reported the damage and the parts would be ordered. On closer inspection the window when wound down does not stay in the track. I have an appointment at the service center today and I will update the post with the outcome, hopefully this is a one off occurrence and it just wasn’t my day. Let’s see what happens… Update… I was asked to take my vehicle to their location when Ryan reviewed and noted the damage. I was contacted by Kevin who promptly set in motion to order the parts. The repair was carried out by Ryan earlier today. As a result of process and communication to make good the damage in addition to a first class job on my return I’ve changed my rating to 5 stars. Thank you Kevin and Ryan

Over the course of two scheduled appointments, technicians failed to arrive both times, resulting in more than 10 hours of wasted time waiting with no proactive communication or updates. The local shop and manager have been effectively unreachable, and I have spent over an hour on the phone with customer service simply trying to obtain basic information about my service status. This breakdown in scheduling, accountability, and communication reflects a serious customer service and management issue, and raises concerns about how Safelite values its customers’ time and business.
