  I do not recommend Iron Horse. I have a 1971 Mustang and stopped by there and the car was checked out by a manager. Kevin, or Keith. Something like that, but doesn't really matter. Rodney called me and offered a two hour inspection, and see what we had to deal with. I was looking for a resto-mod, but in stages. Rodney said it would be a couple of weeks. Months and months go by, with me calling about monthly. I'm eventually told by "Shawna" the two hour inspection is regular maintenance and they don't do that now. So, I wasted all those months just waiting without them even telling me they won't do it. I then pointed out the reason for the inspection was to DO more, but she had no interest. In my conversation with Rodney we had discussed octane, so apparently me asking for a reminder of what should be in the tank made it "maintenance". I then emailed Rodney directly and received NO response at all. I found this surprising after his prior call to set everything up. I had a $40k budget, but that was apparently too small for them. Apparently not interested in anything other than a full restoration in one shot. I was misled for months, so would not trust them now. I would not recommend.

  Rodney is my brother so I've seen where he started out to where he is today. When he was a child, our father and Rodney were side by side in the home garage repairing Briggs and Stratton engines to sell at the swap meets. As Rod became a teenager he helped our father keep the daily drivers running so that the family could make it to work or get the kids to school. Another form of income our father did was to repair classic cars to sell. Of course Rodney was again side by side with dad building engines, rewiring the cars electrical and doing all the mechanical work needed. As Rod got into his early 20's he was doing body work for a local painter/friend and actually worked on one of the bat mobiles from the late 80's. Finally rod ventured off on his own building, painting and striping Harley's in a little shop he rented in Fresno California. Rod finally made the move to Florida in the 90's and opened Iron Horse Restorations in the shop previous to the one he owns today. Rodney had a goal to own his own shop and after 20 years of perseverance, and building hundreds of classic cars he made that goal happen. He is now the outright owner of the Iron Horse Restorations shop you all have come to know. What's amazing is that Rodney is still in the shop building high class cars at almost 60 years old. When you arrive at Iron Horse, you will continue to see him getting his hands dirty just like when he was a kid.

  Iron horse restorations has been doing top quality work for probably 15 or 20 years I personally had some work done on my truck over there at the shop and I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever they took care of the job in a timely fashion and it was affordable I definitely recommend this shop to anyone that's looking to get there old school vehicle cleaned up and taking care of these guys can make it look brand new
