  I recently rented a vehicle from Enterprise after my own car was involved in an accident and needed repairs. When I picked up the rental, I mentioned that I wasn’t particular about the model since I expected to have it for only a day or two. I was given a Mitsubishi Mirage. From the moment the car was started, it made concerning noises. I initially dismissed it because I thought I’d only be driving it briefly. However, on a trip out, the thermostat warning light came on. It turned off on the way back, but the fact that it appeared at all was alarming. Later, I learned that my own vehicle wouldn’t be ready until Friday, so I contacted Enterprise to request a different rental. At that point, I was told there were no other cars available due to a “shortage.” I was also told that all Mirages “sound like that” and that it wasn’t a big deal. I understand that rental fleets can be limited, but being given a vehicle with warning lights and mechanical concerns is unacceptable. A rental car should be safe, reliable, and free of obvious issues. Dismissing a customer’s safety concerns instead of offering a solution is not the level of service I expect. BTW, I am still waiting for another vehicle. Revision: They called back shortly after this posted. They said another vehicle was just dropped off. It had not been cleaned yet. I was fine with it. The gentleman that called me was pleasant and quick to get me out the door. Thank you for fixing the issue. Note to everyone: DO NOT TAKE A MITS MIRAGE.

  Worst experience I’ve had at Enterprise. I called a few hours before pick up time to inquire if my vehicle would be available for a potential early pick up and was told they did not have the vehicle I reserved (reserved 6 weeks prior). They offered no help and told me to call around to other rental places. This was the same day I was to leave on a family trip. After a few calls to nearby locations, there were no vehicles of choice to accommodate my needs BUT, they were way more helpful and escalated my concerns to the area manager who was supposed to call back but never did. Basically, the customer service at Enterpise is almost non existent. So, I ended up having to drive 3 hours round trip to the airport to pick up the vehicle needed to accommodate several people. The only solid thing that came out of this is I was able to drop the vehicle in my town at the end of the trip vs making another 3 hour ride so this was accommodating. The “We’ll pick you up” motto is a total miss and should be relabeled to “you figure it out”. All told, the location I reserved the vehicle at was horrible and will not use Enterprise again. *Update - the automated response and sending me to a website so they can “learn more” about the incident is a total waste of time. Once again, goes to show the low level of customer service they provide. I’d say stay away from them and rent from anyone else as I’ve had great customer service from other rental companies but just my two cents…..

  It was a pleasant experience. The only downside was keeping the vehicle for an extra day because Mike’s isn’t open on Sundays. It was an extra car in my driveway! Jose and Toby were great, they even held the vehicle for us! Will definitely rent from them again as they are very convenient to our house.

  Painless pick up and drop off. Vehicle, Jeep Wagoneer, was clean and well maintained. Had no issues with a 1500+ mile trip with five adults and their baggage. Comfortable ride, 19 MPG, and didn’t balk at the freezing weather or up and down mountain roads. Would rent one again.
