Tad S suggested Rain-X spray. Unfortunately, that didn't work. He asked me if the the car was garaged. It is and I casually remarked my garage gets very hot. I remarked I also cleaned my windshield and wiper blades several times but I kept getting dark residue from the blades on the cloths. So got new blades with some "help" from Tad. That immediately solved the problem. Made me a loyal customer. Thanks Tad.
