Eric at the advanced auto parts on Cortez Road simply looked it up, using my phone number and the battery number He found out that it was discontinued and still figured out a way to replace my battery with my warranty and renew my warranty . He was very polite and respectful.

They helped me pick the correct wiper blades I needed (as I almost got the wrong ones). They installed it and it have a year warranty on them both for a minimal fee. The employee that installed them also assisted me in opening the hood on my car so that I could put my own windshield washer fluid in. He did offer and I waved him off as I could handle that part. I would highly recommend going here as they are super nice and helpful.

When I arrived, the gentleman I spoke to was helping a customer. An employee who had just come in off his break the same time I walked in, got right to work getting me taken care of. While he was replacing my old battery, he was careful, knowledgeable, and explained the whole process to me while I was waiting. I believe I was in and out of there in approximately 30 minutes or so. If it was longer it didnt feel like it. I highly recommend them. My vehicle runs great! Thanks!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
