- DTDavid Pop TomovFeb 27, 20261.0I went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change on my box truck. At the time, everything seemed to go smoothly and the staff was polite and not overly pushy with upsells. However, THANK GOD I decided to check my oil level the next day. The dipstick was showing extremely low — basically dry. If I had continued driving like that, I could have seriously damaged or completely destroyed my engine due to not enough oil being added for this type of vehicle. After paying for an oil change service, I had to go buy additional oil myself and top it off just to safely drive my truck. That is completely unacceptable. An oil change is the most basic service, and getting the oil level right is critical. While the staff was courteous, this kind of mistake could have cost me thousands of dollars in engine repairs. I would strongly recommend double-checking your oil level after your engine cools down if you service your vehicle here.
- CLCleuzeir LopesFeb 21, 20261.0in the end, they charged me $21 for shop supply, which was not included on the Oil change quote. That is ridiculous charge. I would never go back to the shop again. I end up paying $311 for Air filter, oil, two windshield wipers and rotated tires and plus $21 for shop supply, which means I’m paying to use their machines which is ridiculous. I will definitely not go back to the shop again and I do not recommend there is better deals out there
