The store was open, but there were no employees working except someone doing maintenance. He was unable to perform any rental procedures and said the guys that could “went to the airport” and didn’t know which airport or when they would be back. After running some errands, I came back. They had returned! But apparently all needed bathroom breaks as myself and 3 customers sat alone in the waiting room for 10 min. The guy ahead of me had a truck reserved for 4pm. There was no truck. The associate was useless aside from offering him a car lol. The guy is literally in construction gear so he clearly needs a truck. The customer asked if they would get a truck he could swap out and he said “I doubt it.” I had to remind him that Enterprise has a truck rental branch just up the road in Lakeland and they are easy to deal with. I have now been here for 25 minutes and no one has even made eye contact or addressed me. Added edit: the phone is ringing and rather than answer it, the employee who had no clients just silenced it.
