    I purchased a 2018 LC 500 and wanted to have it serviced. I called twice, the service department never answered the phone. Left a VM, they never called back. I called a third time, going thru sales. Eventually did speak with service but was disconnected. Called back, they did not answer the phone. What I've discovered is that Wilkie Lexus will pick up the car and return it for free...just saying.

    I purchased a 2025 Lexus LX700h with 1,890 miles from Lexus of Wilmington. After making the full payment, the dealership released my vehicle to an unknown and unauthorized transport company — not the carrier I hired. Because of their mistake, my car went missing and has still not been found. I never even received the vehicle I purchased, never drove it, and never had the chance to enjoy it. Instead, I lost my money and was left without a car. I followed every procedure, provided the correct transport information, and trusted the dealership to verify who they were releasing my property to. Their negligence and failure to confirm the carrier’s identity directly caused the loss of my vehicle. What makes this even worse is that the dealership’s management refuses to take responsibility for the disappearance of my car. Their lack of accountability has caused me enormous stress, financial loss, and deep disappointment. People, please be extremely careful when leaving your car with them for service. They may hand over your vehicle to unknown individuals.

    Absolutely the easiest and smoothest car-buying experience ever ! JC, my salesman, and Kyle, the sales manager, were professional, personable and extremely helpful. Both were patient beyond what I would have expected since I delayed making this purchase until I had collected several dealership offers and had the time to make comparisons and crunch the numbers. While Kyle and/or JC checked in with me frequently, they never pressured or hurried me to make a decision. The vehicle price Kyle and I agreed upon was, I felt, fair to both parties. The fact that JC drove over 90 minutes to pick me up at my home and drive me another hour back to the dealership was an amazing courtesy. I am grateful I didn’t need to “recruit” a friend or family member to make that journey on a Friday evening at rush hour ! I would recommend Lexus of Wilmington, Kyle and JC to anyone looking to purchase a new (or pre-owned) vehicle.

    I normally do not leave reviews, but what happened at this dealership is extremely concerning and needs to be shared. I purchased a vehicle here and paid in full. The dealership confirmed the payment and told me the car was ready for pickup by the transport company I hired myself. However, when my transport company arrived, they were told that the vehicle had already been released to someone else. I never authorized anyone else to pick up the vehicle. I never signed any pickup documents. I never received the car. At first, management apologized and acknowledged the seriousness of the situation. Later, another employee called and said the dealership “has no responsibility” and refused to help in any way, even though the vehicle was released without my permission. I have filed reports with all relevant authorities, including consumer protection agencies. I sincerely hope this situation gets resolved, but I want others to be aware and double-check everything before doing business here. This experience has been extremely stressful and disappointing.
