  I have rented from this location many many times but this past friday i had a horrible experience. I reserved 15 passanger van just to show up for pick up for manager to tell me they dont have the van because they tried to call me 2 day and i didn't answer. They wasted 2 hours telling me online reservation confirmation does not mean i was confirmed to have a van. Another customer was the person who had to tell the manager you and you company screwed up, so why dont you start calling other location to see if you can find a van. This is when the manager actually get on the phone and got me a van in newark 30min away and i had to drive there. My recommended is the verbal confirmation is enterprise way to say you a confirmation for a rental that need to be stated when you get online confirmation. Also local enterprise should not change anything if they cannot do verbal confirmation. They should only cancel reservation if customer failes to show up after pickup time has pass. I hope this does happen again. How was to tell 15 people i dont have a van to transport them and all i got from manager kyle is i dont know. You did answer my call so van is not here. Ohhh to add 2 days before my pickup there was 2 van sitting at the parking alot and unpon returned the van i pick the same van was being returned. Which mean my original van was rented out a day before my pick up date and time.

  Such a solid team at this branch. Always professional and courteous. I got there early this morning and expected to stand in the rain until opening time but the gentleman (I’m terrible with names and forgot) but the gentleman there got me in and out. I was done within ten minutes. In a clean car and on the road. Thank you again Middletown Enterprise.

  Total failure in communication at the Middletown, DE Enterprise. I did my due diligence and walked in ahead to confirm that a Visa debit card and my insurance would be enough to secure my rental. After confirming everything, they turned me away at the counter Tuesday March 10, 2026, because they "don't do SUVs for debit cards." Why tell me it’s okay in one instance & deny me when I walked in for my Rental? They wasted my time and energy. Go to a competitor who actually knows their own policies.

  Avoid this location—dishonest about requirements ​I was specifically told by this Enterprise location that all I needed for my SUV rental was my Insurance papers and my Visa debit card. I showed up with exactly what they asked for, only to be denied the SUV I reserved. They suddenly claimed a debit card was only good for a mid-sized car. ​If they had been honest on the phone, I could have made other arrangements. Instead, they waited until I was at the counter to change the rules, leaving me in a bind. This is classic bait-and-switch behavior. Extremely unprofessional and unreliable.
